Let there be light

Over the summer break I decided it would be a good idea to pick up a few new skills and try out some courses with a friend. A spot of lampshade making was first on the list, it turned out to be a lovely day, and I got to come away with a unique piece. The finished product has a spot in my studio, where its shining brightly. ♥

End of Year Exhibition, Take 2

For the second year running my collage put on an end of year celebration. This time around I was given my own stand and lots of freedom to go elf crazy, creating an exhibition of my work. I managed to include a portfolio, promotional material for "Express your Elf" (the viral for which was playing in the background) D.I.Y Elves, Christmas Cards, McFly Elves and lots more. I also put together a little side table full of work from the beginning of the year which was non-elf related such as my Alice In Wonderland cards, handmade books, and felted creatures.
It turned out to be a lovely day, and I received lots of positive comments and feedback from everyone which was wonderful! ♥
